About this scholarship
The Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship annually awards a renewable $2,500 scholarship (can be received for up to four years for a total of $10,000) to a college-bound Oregon high school senior from a family affected by alcohol or drug addiction. This includes those raised by a parent or guardian who has experienced addiction, as well as those who have abused alcohol or drugs and are now pursuing recovery.
