The American Legion Department of Tennessee seeks Eagle Scouts for their Eagle Scout of The Year scholarship. Nominees must be active members of a Boy Scout Troop, Varsity Scout Team, or Venturing Crew chartered to an American Legion Post, or be the son, grandson, or great-grandson of a Legionnaire or Auxiliary member. The winner receives $3,000 and competes for an additional $10,000 at the national level.
