The California Advanced Practice Healthcare Scholarship Program (APHSP) provides up to $25,000 to eligible students pursuing advanced practice healthcare professions, in exchange for a 12-month service obligation providing direct patient care at an underserved California facility. It targets behavioral health and other non-behavioral allied health professionals serving California's most underserved communities.

Eligibility details
Must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in an eligible advanced practice healthcare profession in California. Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Must commit to a 12-month service obligation providing direct patient care at a qualifying facility in California upon graduation. Must not have an existing service obligation with other HCAI programs.
