The Carl J. Megel Special Education Scholarship is for high school seniors enrolled in a special education school, class, or program for students with disabilities. Applicants must be sponsored by an Illinois Federation of Teachers (IFT) member. Each year, recipients earn a $5,000 award renewable for up to four years (total of $20,000).
