The Courtney R. Smith Trades Scholarship provides $500 to minority males aged 18-26 pursuing careers in trades such as electrical engineering, carpentry, mechanics, barbering, and other vocational careers leading to certification or degree. Established in honor of Mr. Courtney Smith, a Caribbean-American electrician who worked with IBEW LOCAL 3 in NYC.
