About this scholarship
The Evert Clark/Seth Payne Award recognizes exceptional reporting and writing in any field of science, encouraging young science writers to showcase their talent. Each year, the award grants $1,000 to the applicant who submits the best, original piece of science writing. Applicants must be under the age of 30 and may submit a single article or series, or up to four individual pieces.
