About this scholarship
The Fostering Unimpeded Educational Legacies (FUEL) Scholarship invests up to $8,000 per year (renewable) in college education for former California foster youth. FUEL covers the gap between a student's financial aid awards and the actual cost of attending college, including tuition, housing, and living expenses. Only 3% of former foster youth graduate from college; FUEL is dedicated to changing this.
