The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program provides scholarships for American undergraduate students to study or intern abroad. Established by Congress in 2001, the program has supported over 50,000 students to study in 170+ countries worldwide.

Eligibility details
U.S. citizen. Undergraduate student in good academic standing at an accredited institution. Receiving a Federal Pell Grant or will receive a Pell Grant during the term of study abroad. Applying to or accepted into a study abroad program eligible for credit at home institution. Study abroad program must be at least four weeks in length.
