About this scholarship
The Helen M. Robinson Grant is a grant established in the memory of Helen M. Robinson to support a doctoral student in the early stages of their dissertation research in the area of reading and literacy. This grant is funded by a generous donation from Sam Weintraub. Applicants must be doctoral students planning or beginning their dissertations in the area of reading and literacy. To be eligible, all applicants must be ILA members in good standing and maintain active membership through June 30, 2027. A research description and reference list, prepared in strict adherence to the guidelines, should be uploaded as one document, preferably a PDF. Budget information detailing anticipated expenses is also required. Advisor contact information must also be provided.
