About this scholarship

One of the largest private scholarships in the U.S., providing up to $55,000 per year for high-achieving community college students with financial need to complete their bachelor's degrees at four-year institutions. The Cooke Foundation has awarded over $332 million to nearly 3,900 students since 2000, with 60 transfer scholars named in 2026 from over 1,300 applicants.
