About this scholarship

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program is a highly selective scholarship for the nation's top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor's degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Cooke Scholars possess exceptional academic records and demonstrate unmet financial need. Applicants must be a current student at an accredited U.S. community college or two-year institution with sophomore status, or a recent graduate (since spring 2021). They must be planning to enroll in a baccalaureate program at an accredited college or university in the fall of 2026. Applicants must have no previous enrollment or attendance at a four-year institution. Students who have attended a four-year institution in the past are not eligible for this scholarship. Applicants must submit two recommendations, which must be completed by academic professionals (an adviser, instructor, or professor) well acquainted with the applicant's work and character. This person must be an academic professional at the applicant's current or most recent institution. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
