About this scholarship
The John R. Justice Student Loan Repayment Program provides loan repayment assistance for state and federal public defenders and state prosecutors employed in Louisiana. Applicants must agree to remain employed in these roles for at least three years and have an outstanding student loan balance of at least $20,000. Each year, 10 assistant district attorneys receive $3,300 and 5 public defenders receive $6,600.
