About this scholarship
The Joseph P. Gavenonis Plan I is awarded to children or grandchildren of Pennsylvania Legion members who were killed, injured, missing in action, or in good standing in The American Legion. Applicants must submit proof of relative's military service/membership, parents' income statement, SAT scores, and transcript. Two awards of $500 each are available to high school seniors.
