About this scholarship
The Keep Flying Scholarship was created after 9/11 to offer an intermediate level flight scholarship. This scholarship is open to WAI members worldwide. One scholarship will be awarded to an individual working on a fixed-wing aircraft instrument, commercial, multi-engine, or flight instructor certificate. Candidates must hold a private pilot certificate and have at least 100 hours of flight time. International applicants only. In addition, they must have passed all written exams for the certificate sought that is required by the aviation authority in their country. Finalists will be interviewed as part of the selection process. Applicants must provide a copy of their passed written exam for the certificate being sought. All applicants must be current WAI members with an expiration date of March 30, 2026 or later. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation. Letters should not be from family members.
