About this scholarship
The Korty and Morton Scholarship awards up to $4,000 to LGBTQIA+ residents of downstate Illinois (excluding certain northern counties) or their children who have volunteered their time to help the LGBTQIA+ community. Applicants must attend or plan to attend any accredited post-secondary educational institution and submit essays describing their involvement in the LGBTQIA community and financial need.
