About this scholarship
The McKeon Scholarship, worth between $1,000 and $4,000, is annually awarded to LGBTQIA+ residents of Illinois (or their children) who are politically involved in their community. Applicants must reside in any Illinois county except Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, or Will County, and attend or plan to attend any accredited post-secondary educational institution.
