About this scholarship
The Page and Elizabeth Jenkins Scholarship is a renewable $5,000 award established by Rose T. Macy in loving memory of her parents, honoring Page Jenkins' lifelong dedication to geology and Elizabeth Jenkins' support of his career. The scholarship supports full-time sophomore through graduate-level students at the University of Wyoming who are U.S. citizens, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate unmet financial need. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in either the Department of Geology or Geophysics, or in the School of Energy Resources majoring in Energy Resource Management and Development with a concentration in Professional Land Management or Energy and Environmental Systems. Funds may be used for tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses, with disbursements split between semesters. Applications must include a college transcript with fall grades, resume, short answer responses, essay, and Student Aid Index. The scholarship may be renewed for up to two additional years if renewal criteria are met.
