The Saryu and Jitu Desai Foundation Scholarship annually awards $5,000 to one Pennsylvania resident of South Asian Indian descent enrolled full-time in their second, third, or fourth year of a Pennsylvania medical school. Applicants must have been residents of Pennsylvania for at least 12 months before registering as medical students.
