About this scholarship
The Silver State Opportunity Grant (SSOG) is awarded annually to low-income Nevada residents attending NSHE community colleges or Nevada State College who have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) under $8,500. Recipients may earn up to $5,500 annually, with award amounts calculated by subtracting the student's contribution, expected family contribution, and federal awards from total cost of attendance.
