About this scholarship
The Victoria Ovis Memorial Scholarship supports children of law enforcement officers who were killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty. Applicants must be full-time post-secondary students from or residing and attending school in New York State or the New York metropolitan area with a minimum 2.7 GPA. Awards are granted based on financial need, academic merit, and achievements such as leadership, performance in arts/sports, and volunteer activities.
