About this scholarship
The William Henry Fitch Memorial Trust was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide need-based scholarships for students who have been disproportionately affected by systemic barriers to educational achievement, seeking a professional nursing education. Preference will be given to junior- or senior-level applicants in a four-year institution and second-year students in a two-year program. Preference will also be given to applicants who have been disproportionately affected by systemic barriers to educational achievement. Awards are not renewable, but applicants may reapply each year they meet the eligibility criteria. Award will be granted for undergraduate or graduate study only.
